Players will have to track down and kill one of Act I's Super Unique enemies, the Smith, to find the weapon and return it to Charsi. To begin Tools of the Trade, players will need to speak to Charsi after reaching the Monastery Gates, an area accessible from Tamoe Highland. She will mention that she left her Horadric Malus behind in the Monastery. Getting to Act II does not require the completion of this quest, but it grants a valuable reward that will benefit any of Diablo 2: Resurrected's classes. While running through the Monastary Barracks, players can go straight into the next area, Jail Level 1, without ever crossing the Smith's path.

It's given by the blacksmith in town and can be missed completely if players don't explore the Monastery Barracks. Tools of the Trade is the fifth quest available in Act I.
